Vella den Keep was my first mod. I learned a lot about the CS while building it. I started learning Blender a few weeks after I uploaded that mod. The only thing in the keep that was made by me is the books that I wrote to explain things.
Thats really good. I just was checking to see if you've done anything else and came across this. Are the creatures in the cages in Vella den Keep some of your own? I haven't downloaded the mod because I'm waiting til I get a new one built for me that can actually handle oblivion before adding more mods, so when I do I'll definitely download it. I know my hubby, Harushimo, has done pretty much the same thing but he is making it a massive tunnel system that leads across cyrodiil using leylines, or dragon paths. But anyways, I really appreciated your help earlier with the Japanese lanterns and this pic of the first blender model is really good. I know I can't do anything with blender even if I tried cause I'm not that good. n_n
I plan to make some because I want my mod to be different from all the others but my main focus is on creatures and races. I want every creature in Pellucidar to be something that Oblivion players have never seen. I've been making a lot of sketches of creatures that could be made using pre existing Oblivion creatures and I'll be replacing those skins as soon as I learn how.
are you thinking of making archirecture?? i am only making architecture,since we already have 72476212873287 weapons, and i just know we have that many,,
Since this was my first attempt at sculpting in 3d with blender I made quite a few mistakes. There are 98304 faces on this model and the detail isn't near as good as the detail in an Ogre's head that has around 4000. I still have a lot to learn and a long way to go but I am still proud of my first model. I don't know how Bethesda got so much detail in such a low face count but I'll learn.
