Thank you Fredlaus And gratz on the new PC! I recall you mentioning at one point that one was in the plans. I still remember how good it felt to update from my ancient Pentium 2, to this build a couple of years ago, so I share your joy.
Actually I kept my Motherboard and RAM. Updated my Graphic Card to a Radeon RX 480 + a new SSD harddrive - it works tremendously well and cost me around 310 usd. I am very pleased by that of course - that it is even possible.
That makes a lot of sense, and piece by piece replacement is something I can do now when the urge strikes (like a new 4 GB graphics card at some point... my current is 2 GB). Before, though, I had to replace *everything* since it was all so ancient.
It's nice when the guts of your computer are more modern.. it makes upgrades relatively affordable, rather than the "ouch" of a totally new system.
