While she does, obviously, have a little attitude problem at times, in Drake's eyes Kaira always wants to look her very best, to 'be' her very best when he's around. Drake's the orderly, disciplined, never-do-wrong kind of rule-abiding law enforcer, and Kaira, she doesn't want him to think any bad of her no matter what... not that he ever would, of course, but regardless.
Still, knowing that she wants to be more like him, wants to be more orderly and rule-abiding like him, he also can't resist telling her when and where she did wrong and what she should've done instead. She wants to learn, after all, wants to improve, and Drake is just the kind of teacher she needs for this, and he knows it very well.
"My, didn't I tell you already countless times not to salute me? You're not in the military and I'm not your superior."

- "Re-igniting the Dragon Fires in the Temple of the One, if only 'temporarily', and causing a ruckus among the priests..." - "But... they were asking for it!... 'Oh, if only the fires would burn again' they muttered day in day out... I just granted their wishes!"
- "Flying in circles over the Imperial Arena and disturbing championship matches by shouting 'Killing is bad! Boo!' repeatedly..." - "Yes, but it 'is' bad, isn't it?"
- "Nightly disturbance of Thieves' Guild initiation tests by camouflaged stalking of participants, then jumping out of hiding and yelling 'Hey! Stealing is bad! M'kay?!'..." - "While I do agree it is, having the Gray Fox in person come up to you and complain is 'bad news', my dear!"
- "Free-Climbing to the top of the White-Gold Tower..." - "The Office of Imperial Renovation will take the entire next month to repair the claw marks you left behind in the walls on your way up!"

Took me some of my breath at first, but once I got the hang of it I didn't even break a sweat... Although, if the blades they made now aren't yet perfectly right, with only their regular furnace fire they won't be able to hammer them out anymore."

That sure is a mightily impressive list for only a single day's deeds and misdeeds she got there. I told you she'd got to 'funny ideas', if I don't bring Drake around soon...

So is K a companion mod? How on earth did you get the skin to match her?
The story line is so good too.. I wanted to keep reading.... Dump her and marry me.. I can make you even more happy.....*tickles your tail* J/k
That's always been the sole reason for me to post them here to begin with, 1) to show those interested in it my progress, and 2) to get their thoughts back in return.
With 2) completely gone and 1) more than unsure by now I already stopped posting them here a while ago. My deviantArt gallery is up ahead a lot in this regard, but also due to other reasons.
Oh, but I can assure you, nothing from Apachii's store is used on those chars. I don't know about Kaira's hair, it's a wig actually and I got it from Apachii's Wigs, retextured it and put her feather jewelry inside, so that could actually be sold in it, but everything else but their hair was created by your's truly and mostly also from scratch.
I don't know if Apachii's store or equipment is available in Skyrim, I told you I don't play that game, but chances are much of it isn't, as the items sold in it were created by a multitude of authors and included with permission, which is rather difficult to obtain again for a release for Skyrim, not to mention the conversion of it all.
You won't find my Half-Dragon skin textures, or other assets, anywhere on the Nexus, for I haven't yet finished up a release of them. They're a blend between the Robert's Male and -Female Breton textures (The race most fitting Drake and Kaira when in human shape) and the latest state of my new Anthro-Dragon textures, very likely shipping with the next release of my race once I asked the artist who made them for me again... or of course I also need to first be actually done with it up to a point of release, else even thinking about it alone is just a waste of time.
Kaira is "meant to be" a companion mod somewhen in the future, yes, but for right now I simply created a patch plugin for the famous romanceable companion Viconia De'Vir from the Underdark Saga to switch her race and change her appearance and name so she's Kaira, or better yet a make shift placeholder for the real her. I also have one such plugin to make her an Anthro-Dragon and a Breton, of course, as my loving couple's randomly shape shifting around at occasion, and I always need a fitting appearance for her in the game.
Yeah, the two are a creation from a mind story of mine, which started about, oh, it's more than 10 years ago by now! I already started writing down the first few sub-chapters of the story both on my website as well as on deviantArt, but I didn't get too far I'm afraid (like what I came up with during the very first few days), and in my mind the story continued, at good times about a couple hours of narrated time every day.
The written down version is massively behind the current point of events that's in my mind. Months have passed full of action, adventure and fun, and it'll take me literally months, or maybe a year, to actually write it all down, if my free time allowed it, and provided I didn't already forget most of it by the time I finally get around to it again.
That's why whenever you see images from me, they usually go along with a story or two. Although not exactly related to the book in my mind, it's still filled to the brim with ideas and there's ever more to come. They just burst out into the public whenever I give it an opportunity to. Can't help it. ^^
Oh, but no, Drake's never going to dump her and take another, not at any point of time within the 2700 remaining years of his life... or maybe longer, some ancient dragons mastered the art of sustaining their life force by their magic and becoming 5000 or more years old. Who knows how far Drake will manage? The two are destined to be together, one just can't be without the other. I've already created stories with their children, Drak and Lydia, inside in my mind, which is something you won't be seeing inside the book story either for I don't know how long to come, if at all.
"Hey there, hands off, he's mine, as is his tail!"
"Although... coming to think of it, 'I' for one wouldn't mind some tail tickling myself to ease the tenseness of the day. Drake's gone mod testing again to the-ancients-know-where for the rest of the day and I'm all alone again right now."
"Shush, young lady! You do behave now, alright? Else I'm going to tell Drake myself when he returns. No troublemaking, chaos or wanna-be natural disasters anymore this time around, you got me?"
