  Lovely shot!
  I honestly feel that animal companions are *the way* to go in this game. Though, I admit, in part, that is because I have been spoiled by Skyrim's numerous excellent (modded) humanoid companions, and Oblivion just doesn't compare in that regard.

  Oblivion also has several amazing humanoid companions, and we installed two companion mods - Vilja and Dairanath Avari. I just feel much more comfortable with animals fighting by my side.
