Ya see - practice makes perfect. It's not only my eyes - it's my own kind of "automatism" to search the area for nirnroots when being some steps away from water. (no matter if ingame or in screenshots)
Do you have a list up somewhere of your environmental mods/ENB you use? I've been planning on reinstalling Oblivion again soon and really like the look in these images.

Sometime ago i thought this purple haze works in this game. Looks like many others see same way xD (why i said "i/me" - because i slapped purple-black-white palette to my enb like 8+ months ago. Also didnt see anyone else do it yet.) anyways: +1
I have this kind of palette too . But I think here the purple haze comes also from the violet sky appearing at the end of the day, combined with the bloom and sky settings of my enb ... ^^
