It's actually very new and fresh for me as well. Aside from having the new computer to play with, I never played Oblivion as much as the other two games.. In fact, I never even finished the main quests of the vanilla game and Shivering isles, while Knights of the Nine is entirely untouched. So between the new array of mods I can choose from and the machine, I'm really looking forward to properly experiencing the game. Right now.. I'm just wandering about with my jaw hanging open; I haven't yet done much in the way of questing.
Oblivion was quite a jawsdropping experience for me as well. I came from DOOM and HL2 to the serene world of Oblivion. In a short while Oscuros entered the scene with his groundbreaking OOO-mod. By that experience I was completely hooked. He, he.
Yep! OOO is awesome, I've used it a lot in the past. Right now though, I'm trying out Maskar's Oblivion Overhaul, and so far I have been very impressed. It's lighter than OOO and doesn't need any patches in order to work with other mods. Plus, for those who want to, it can also be run alongside OOO without an issue: http://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/42780/?tab=2&navtag=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.nexusmods.com%2Foblivion%2Fajax%2Fmodfiles%2F%3Fid%3D42780
Oh my.. that comment was timely. I do indeed have MOO, and I've been wondering where to really begin with the game, aside from completing one of the Fighter's Guild quests I picked up. So maybe I will initiate the MQ, cheers!

If you add MOO, then, I strongly recommand to start the main quest and other, You'll have a real thrill and also a big fun.
