   This is a thing missing in the new Witcher game. Stunningly beautiful landscapes, yes, and I thoroughly enjoy taking a ride in 3D. But the flora, and the clouds, tss, tss, tss. With respect to those you are still better off with -- **kowtowing** a modded -- Oblivion, in my opinion.

      I'm still in Witcher 1, and am enjoying it (working on some textures, too - I wouldn't be myself if I weren't). I'm sure something supercool can be done about flora in W3 as well. I saw many minutes of gameplay and I can tell this is one thing that will be bugging me, too. Road textures, on the other hand... - wow, they look quite spectacular.
      
      Tobbs, yeah, I must be getting old and soft in the core. And those things you said about childhood games almost made me cry How I would love to get back in time to those times!

   In RL I love to see meadows with such tall and wild grasses. It reminds me of the time when I was a child. There were a lot of wild meadows around the village where I lived. It was a time when kids played outdoors!, instead of sitting indoors in front of a TV. Nowadays you need a lot of luck to find such a wild and pristine meadow with lots of different grasses and wild flowers, (not to forget all the bees, bumblebees, bugs and butterflies).
   In some way this makes me sad...

      I bet many of us here did that. It was a lot easier to find a field or even a vacant lot to play in & imagine it was much larger & filled with wonderful things. Ditches became canyons, bushes trees, & lizards dragons. ;-D
