A whiff of things to come
There. I'm back in the trap ;)
Alenet has got in touch with me to let me know that finally ENB is fully compatible with OR's Improved Water (Yes, I'm an old stubborn ass, and I still prefer ENB - but now with a healthy dose of new things that OR offers to spice things up).
For long enough I haven't even checked my inbox, fearing that again I'll be spending more time here than in real life. (I hereby apologise to everyone who wrote to me but didn't get a reply.) But I had to, just had to give Alenet's promises a double check. (Yeah, that's maczo the vindictive bitch ;P ) And yeah a big hoorray and hats off, setting off all my clapping devices, etc. And my tes4 seems to run a little smoother, too...
But this long intro serves as a small announcement of things that have been born almost accidentally, almost as an afterthought, when I was turning off the game. (But which already set me back a few days with RL work. meh...).
So, without me further droning, please, let me know what you think about these things:
- Roads - a source and object of many nasty jokes and not one death when you tried not to look under your feet. I've studied real imperial roads and learned a few interesting facts which made me come up with this.
- City/castle walls - I wanted to stay as close to original, but with improved quality. Main source of inspiration was Gorgulla's Oblivion Texture Overhaul Sewers, and Gecko's Ayleid Ruins Textures V2 which do exactly that - stay very faithful to vanilla but make it look modern and high quality.
- Various bits and pieces (e.g. burlap sacks, leather top tables, some of this, some of that and a kitchen sink). You can't see them here, but if you'd like to see them I can take a few nice snaps of these babies.
Keep in mind that none of these projects are 100% complete yet. For instance, you can see that pillars on walls and other details are Qarl's, etc. But this is a glimpse of what's sitting on my stove. (Not to mention the big architecture textures projects that's taking too long already, but I decided to completely remake some of them).

And it's always great to see you
Good to see that you're still motivated and busy!
Very glad to finally see you again at work. I lost half of my mods in system crashes, almost all records of your mods were the number. Also many other mod folders. I bitterly regret these losses.
your work here is always welcome, and I must say that I missed you very much, you and your nice spicy language... Cant wait to see your work and I'm ready to test if you need.
Edit : Answering to your proposal to see more of your work I agree to take a look, no, I want to!
