Arkania is the name for the habitable region of the world of Arkan, where much of the story takes place and where all of its civilizations are located. This is the first ever full color map produced of Arkania, developed using Thorgrim's M&B Map Editor and GimpShop. Regardless of whether RoA ever gets ported to Mount & Blade, one thing I can say is that this map editor was a powerful and very effective tool for my purposes. Definitely wish painting terrain for the TES games was this intuitive!

The process took just two days and is based entirely on my geographical descriptions of Arkania in the book. The red box indicates the approximate boundaries for Arkania, and especially where the boundaries would be if RoA ever became a feasible open-world design again. All three of Arkania's dominant climates should be easily recognizable from one another without seeming too aliased (with the possible exception of the more wintry climate of Nordathia, which was exaggerated for aesthetic effect, much like the way Bethesda chose to depict Skyrim).
