I found the vanilla game really boring when I reached the level 40+ because even with the best weapon and armor you can't kill ennemies like ghosts, they must have 100.000.000 HP and won't die. I had to turn the game on easy to be able to kill them.

      I play on easy also. I am happy that I am not the only one.

      I play for fun role playing, & sight seeing, not to beat a game, so my needs are different. Because the opponents leveled up with you there seemed no reason to level up since it only put tougher & uglier things into the game so that the beautiful scenery could no longer be enjoyed. I try to stay at Level 5 or so. Fortunately the game can be adjusted for many different purposes, so we all can enjoy it as we like.;-)

      I played that game for the challenge at first, in hardmode. But it's really unbalanced, ennemies are so powerful and you are so weak. Even rats can beat you... I'm so afraid of them! Then I turned the game on easy and started modding it to enjoy what people created to improve the game. Like you, I play for fun and sight seeing.

    That's why I mod my game.
    I have a huge file where I change enemies' stats and so on.
    Those enemies overhauls didn't match my needs after a while.
