And maybe the rich, as opposed to the very rich, employ a full time upholsterer. And maybe the wife gives him his own sitting room to do as he pleases, while keeping another for guests.
Still, you would think he would be more comfortable resting in softer clothing. Perhaps there is a family issue & he feels he needs to be careful in his own home. ;-D
