About this image

I am pleased to announce that the city of Tyrendar was successfully recovered and safely relocated to the realm of Arunor. Only terrain data seems to have been lost, but this was a small sacrifice, and I can easily repaint/raise the land for the city's districts.

Overall, I feel like the new location suits the city much better -- no longer surrounded by an arid, rocky beach, but by the shores of a lush, fertile grassland. The change in setting seems much more appropriate for a city so devoted to the preservation of peace. Furthermore, the city has been situated due east, so that Pyrrhos, Azur-El and the moons will all appear to pass over the city. This detail, I felt, would be a nice piece of symbolism for the City of Light.

In other news, I've recently ordered a more modern PC. It hasn't arrived yet, but it should be here soon. I'm super excited to see how the new hardware will improve my modding capabilities, and of course, to be able to experience Oblivion above Low video settings for once. Can't wait!

Tyrendar will be the only city in Arunor, acting as a hub and player character starting location. Generally, as you move west, away from Tyrendar, enemies will grow in power and dungeons will become more complex. If possible, I would eventually like to expand the island on which Tyrendar is based and add low-level zones behind the city, like a swamp, a forest and a ruin (first dungeon) as a form of tutorial sequence.

I do not know how to create mode, but always sincerely admire people who are able to come up with them and create.
