Personally I reckon your changes are for the better. She looks less like a doll or kid (yet still delicate and ethereal). I'd trust her better when I saw her as she's now. The original is beautiful, yours is more believable.
Yeah I kinda found Mia to look too young as well. Pym on the other hand is just right as she is, Mia just share's the same race as Pym. I wanted to create a character that was similar, but different (because of how unique Pym is and the corresponding race) I just had to create a character from the race, play the character for a while, then I could figure out what I would like to see different.
