    Interesting!
There's no fps drop this? It is very cool.

I am very sensitive to the fps drop.

Hey, thanks. I'd say I'm even more sensitive to it - playing at the verge of 10 FPS (because of scripts) makes me superconscious of anything that causes extra strain. This is why I went for resolution of 1024x1024 or - in some special cases - 2048x2048 pixels, and not for huge texture godzillas.

The secret lies in carefully prepared normal maps - preferably painted from scratch. It takes a lot of time, but I guess it's worth the waiting.

      Your fps10?
      It's almost impossible to gameplay...
I want to be a comfortable graphical settings on your game play.

But I had 10 FPS even before retexturing. The textures haven't hit the framerate, fortunately.
Usually I see 7-20 FPS. Without any HD textures, just with the ton of scripts, it's c.a. 15-30. My laptop is a piece of turd, but it struggles valiantly and doesn't break. It doesn't even crash too often. Still, it's time to get a new, better one after New Year, because I can't do anything in Blender and Z-Brush with this one.

Dennywood, Christmas ahead - it's not prayers that provide for laptops.

Maczopikczo., I am glad, you're on this now, you having it announced ages ago . This looks really good. Doors. I love doors. -- Doors like those found in the old trading towns in Holland or so would probably do well in other parts of Cyrodiil .

    Can't wait... can't wait.
Edit : That's what I exactly waiting for. Fine textures. BTW, do you expect to do the timber on the front face of the pinions roofs too?

Thank you Denny. I always love your enthusiasm
Yes, all roofs - thatch and slate - will be retextured, too. I'm just leaving it for a little later.

Great job! The wood grain and the carvings look very authentic/real!

I really liked your previous Cinematic ENB-pics, but in this case I like the 2nd shot (with vanilla settings) the most. Must be the slightly warmer colors and lighting...

I know what you mean, Tobbs. This time I thought the same. I love how ENB scatters light, but here the wood in vanilla light looks more "friendly", so to say.

It's still a lot of work, but the major textures are already done and the difference is pretty obvious. It's mostly peanuts left, but a lot of peanuts.
