I personally only like spring and summer since from sept-oct. onwards its just like stereotypical england. Rain 23/7 (1h calm!) and somewhere around mid-Dec or in best cases end of January we get ****tons of snow! (If jet stream/polar flow is nice like making north US feel like north europe last year. Sorry i had to say it XD )

    Actually I liked the change last year Mahtawa, at least in the snow amounts. Temp wise however the average was a bit warmer, mostly due to having a few days spike up into the 60s.

      If this is correct and your 60=15C then your winter are warmer than our general fall temps XD
      But i heard you got like 6 feet of snow there and here.

      I think that was up state New York. I think at best we got 6 feet in in a month, most but at most on the ground at a time was 2 feet.

    I hate all seasons, but I hate autumn less than others :p because up here in sunny Scotland you don't know what season you'll get on any given day :p

    Back in middle and high school I hated winter. Not because of the snow, but the lack of it. Part of the US I was in we'd get it over night and it was gone by mid day.
    We really did see a good accumulation of the stuff till the year after I graduated.

    Also I did have this crazy "If I was rich" idea where I might spend half the year in the US and half the year in Australia. I'd Miss the snow, but stay in Bikini weather.

      When my teen times were over i started to hate winter. ~6 months of snow and temps differing from -30C to +6C means either frozen air or slush. I haven't done any snow sports since 17 when i snowboarded against the tree and left side of by body was from knee up to shoulder full of bruises and it ached like hell.. Didn't go to hospital XD

      I had same idea, If i didn't have a job and i was filthy rich. I would spend the winter time in pattaya or in some other asian island paradise.
