Horses are fleeting animals but Donkeys; Donkeys are for life.
They don't say they live for "Donkey's years" for nothing you know... Especially if they're set to essential.
The Donkey in the picture is Platero, one of Benjamin the donkey's friends. 

"a small, soft, hairy donkey: so soft to the touch that he might be said to be made of cotton, with no bones. Only the jet mirrors of his eyes are hard like two black crystal scarabs."

      Ben ben ben, I don't know if you know the bug that I encountered. My donkey let me mount him only once. After that when I try to mount him again, nothing works, I stay on the ground while my character becomes as small as a dwarf. I can't understand that and it's too sad, I love those donkeys.

      Sounds like you got the evil donkey. o.O
      I've been lucky so far. I used the "Smaller Donkeys" version of the mod and haven't had any trouble with it

      Hmmm... Come to think of it; I did notice that the game didn't like it when I saved while ridding on Donkey-Back. A couple saves wouldn't load because of that mistake and I had to backtrack my game a bit to save it from those saves. I don't know weather that's a Donkey problem or an riding-horses-in-Oblivion problem.
      Didn't notice any other strangeness yet though. Still traveling with Platero, just remembering to dis-mount for saves.
