About this image

Well wowza.

After being unable to finish at least one outfit to my liking, I kinda sorta had a conniption fit and turned to another long overdue project of mine - the continuation of my wig mod. I have a few wigs in mind, some even finished (at least in one colour), but I want to add matching hair accessories as well.

There is a distinct lack of hair jewelery/accessories in the community! We can not have that. I already made some stuff for Nouks dreads (those dreads from Apachiis wig mod) and it looks nice :D
I am also thinking about flowers or clasps of some sort, elven circlet thingamabobs ET CETERA.

So yeah, that is the plan. In theory. XDD

This hair in the screenshot was a pain to port, but I like it so much O_o It's meant for elven characters, there is even a lot of "space" where the elf ears are supposed to be to avoid clipping. This hair also needs shiny accessories stat.

I wouldn't say their is a lack of Hair, Wigs, Amulets and Rings. The problem is the that they tend to be spread about in several mods. Save for Appachii you other wise have to go threw almost all the folders for a few mods that fill those wants.

Nono, I wasn't talking about a lack of accessories per se. I meant hairs with accessories in them

chakaru you do have a point now that I think about it. Some hair has ties in it I remember however they seldom are as detailed as if the accessory were seperate.

I wonder how one could add an object to a wig without it being part of the wig? Hmmm

Apart that is from making it like a tail or something (which others have done).

Well adding objects is actually really easy, you just rig tem to the head and add it to the wig nif file. Wig meshes can consist of several pieces, unlike hair meshes, which must be baked together into a one piece mesh because they work with the .egm files.

Wow, that sounded a lot more complicated than it actually is XD Basically, a wig can consist of a myriad of mesh pieces thrown into one nif file. As long as the stuff is rigged to the head, it shows up ingame. WHEE

A potential Elven Armor replacer. Nice! Not sure why women like high heels - all I hear are complaints about sore feet, but out they go to by more of them.....

It's a rather complicated wig, it must have many overlapping layers. It's beautiful of course.
As for jewels in the hair I can only think of ornamental combs and hair sticks right now.

You have done a really wonderfull job ! Congratulations ! Hairs are great ! Outfit is beautifull and I also love her jewelry - which matches the outfit. The only thing I don't like about it (or any outfit) are the high heels but that is just a personal preference of mine and it doesn't mean the whole outfit is bad Once again - wonderfull job - keep up the good work !
