About this image

If I should follow through with the idea of super-sizing Evenia and dedicating the first mod in the series entirely entirely to that region (which I'm beginning to like more and more), here is a look at what Evenia's new geography might look like. Also, yes, the region's name was recently changed to Avalon. Since the two regions and their factions shared so much in common, I ultimately decided to merge some of Avalon's elements with Evenia. This means that Tyrendarian architecture will look less exotic, and more traditionally medieval, while retaining the bright and glorious decorations of old Tyrendar. For lack of a better reference, think Stormwind City. The many farms from the Isles region will also be relocated here, and, of course, Queen Soteria Valerius now reigns over this land.

I'd also like for the paladins of Tyr's Hand to be of a much lower profile -- more of an inner circle of warrior-priests. I think that, with the Syndicate running about, that's how they would prefer to operate. As such, their armour would not be so royally distinguished, as this would make them easy targets. Yet I still would like to have some really glorious-looking Tyrendarians hanging around, so I'm considering giving the guards of the Kingdom a bit of a visual upgrade. "Lost Paladins of the Divines" is a nice reference for the sort of decorated plate armour pieces I'm interested in. I'll need to contact the author(s) for permission to use the armours featured, but I think they would look great on the guards.

Inaccessible Zones
(these zones will be blocked by collision boxes -- invisible walls -- but will exist in the game for distant land purposes)
Brown = Kal'Mnoria: Northern Great Forest-style
Yellow = Darkwood: Nibenay Basin-style
Purple = Arakaia: Blackwood-style

Accessible Zones
(these zones belong to the Kingdom of Avalon and will be fully accessible except for the Red Hills, which will be partially accessible, due to the fact that it is a mountainous border region):
Red = The Red Hills: West Weald-style
Blue = Lake Evenia: Heartland-style
Green = Avalonian Forest = Great Forest-style.. Redwoods only, in tribute to the very first release of Realms of Asuron, an early demo which featured a vast forest area of the same name
