Reminds me of when I took my hunter to get attuned for MC in wow. To get attuned you had to go threw Blackrock Depths and face all the mobs, bosses and traps. Or Jump into the river of magma that circles the inner city aND SWIM all the way to the entrance of MC. Once you where there you just grabbed a stalagmite and ran back out. The magma trick was preferred since it could be done at level with out much fuss and took about 5 minutes. Going threw BRD took close to two hours.
First run in BRD was 1 Warrior, 3 Paladins, 1 Mage might have been a server first run, as there was only 10 total people at that time over level 45, but a full clear took 4 hours, including running back, worst was the room full of Dark Iron Dwarves and those torches. However, when it came to attunement runs we would clear the way there in about 20 minutes then rotate people out of the party as they got attuned.
