About this image

The First Civilisation to visit Asuron brought with it an ancient language and culture that would shape the future of all races on the planet.
This glyph, known as the Glyph of ADR' (English translation: 'omni', so.. the Glyph 'of all things') depicts the core belief system of that proto-race. Associated with each piece of the Glyph is a loose English translation. Notice how they seem related to objects in the natural world. It is purely metaphorical -- not necessarily literal -- so keep this in mind (yet the denizens of Asuron, being young and primitive in their evolution, would first interpret the meanings of the Glyph as literal descriptions of their world). From this system, all races on Asuron would devise their own religions and philosophies. Note that anywhere you see an apostrophe ('), a very subtle, short i sound is present.
Within the upper half of the Glyph are the elements of XAEOR (also known as Kael). The elements within the lower half of the Glyph are the elements of XIR (also known as Kun). These elements are in opposition to one another (not necessarily good or evil -- just opposing schools of thought). As a result of their feud, G'UO (Fire) and T'KARO (Stone) came into being. These are neutral elements/philosophies, which may venture to either side of the Glyph. As such, they are recognised as the forces of change, and so they are highly prized schools of thought. Hmm. Maybe this is how Pyrrhos and Abyssos emerged...
In the center of all of this lies CHAOTICA (depicted by the eye in the center of the Glyph of ADR'). Chaotica is the name of the universe -- as well as the galaxy - in which Realms of Asuron takes place. It is represented with an eye because all things here are "awake" -- or alive.
After the departure of this advanced Civilisation, the races of Asuron would attach deities to this belief system, and, from there, entirely unique belief systems would emerge all across the planet.

AE'U - The act of advancing a system by use of invisible/penetrative forces (Analogy: Air)
VAEKOU - The act of advancing a system by use of reactive forces (Analogy: Water)

T'KARO - The act of altering a system by use of passive forces (Analogy: Stone)
G'UO - The act of altering a system by use of rogue forces (Analogy: Fire)

'KO - The act of freezing a system by use of opposing forces (Analogy: Ice)
QA'B - The act of freezing a system by destroying it (Analogy: Void)
