Wow! Looks really great ! Nice perspective and colors! The water looks amazing.

I follow this project with great interest.
Are you planning to release it when it's finished? Will it require OBSE or OBGE (regarding the godrays)?
I just ask, because I can not use OBSE... :/

I use OBGE for godrays, SSAO, distant DOF and ColorMood. The water is from Liquid Water Mod that also riquires OBGE. I have a self-made adaptation of it for the German Nehrim. It depends on the German version because the names of the ini files for the cells that have custom water settings need to be the same as the cell names itself.

Other than that, the main lighting changes are the result of just changing the color and HDR parameters for the weather types with the Construction set. It sounds simply but it's very time-consuming to find the right paramerers that provide a natural feeling in different conditions, but ultimately it will be a small plugin, easy to release. Although it will be matched better to the OBGE effects that I use.

Edit: Why you can not use OBSE?

Thank you very much for this detailed explanation. I can imagine that it's a time consuming process!

Me and OBSE - that's a long and old story! Either OBSE doesn't like my computer, or my computer doesn't like OBSE. I have no clue. Back then I tried it 2 times to install it (after meticulously reading and studying diverse guides) but I had no success. Everything was messed up and I had constantly crashes. As a result I had to reinstall everything anew! 2 times! :/
I swore to myself that I will NEVER touch OBSE again, despite several offered assistances of some friends here.

btw. I never would have guessed that the names of the ini files must match with the cell names. Sounds pretty tricky but interesting.
...oh, and I use the latest german version 1.5.0.5
(warum mache ich mir überhaupt die Mühe alles auf englisch zu schreiben!?)
