About this image

Dear fellow image uploaders, please kindly take the time to read the following points below.

Due partially to my marketing background, I've pre-empt the low likelihood of image uploaders (in general) seeing a couple of recently posted articles related to this image share section. Therefore, please do not take this upload as some sort of push/promotion of any of the ideas or suggestions which may be contained within the/those article(s). DO NOTE RATE THIS IMAGE. THAT GOES AGAINST THE INTENTION. By professional judgement I am merely using this upload as a placeholder to inform members of the article(s) existence within the site.

The article can be found here:

theLeeHarvey's article can be found here:

MORE IMPORTANTLY, please take note of these points:

-It is by coincidence that theLeeHarvey has written his article at this time, thus I found it even more timely to put up this upload. It is by MY choice alone that I form this association, and theLeeHarvey has absolutely no prior knowledge or part in my decision (LeeHarvey, there's a note for you at the end of all this).

-I speak for myself, and hopefully (from what I've read of LeeHarvey's article) also for theLeeHarvey, when I say that it is never our intention to speak from some sort of moral high horse. I provide some general points for you (all image uploaders, myself included) to hopefully think about in my article, facts and simple tutorials for use. In a different aspect LeeHarvey's article also gives you some food for thought. He does not mean to call anyone in particular (this aspect did not even cross my mind while putting together my article) out and neither do I.

-Take the articles' end note seriously; "Opinions expressed are those of the individual user and in no way represent the views of the administrators of this website.". DarkOne has a site to run and the moderators have a job to do; we (assuming I speak for LeeHarvey) are just blessed with the ability to post our information within this site. We genuinely just want (from our perspective) what we feel is for the betterment of the site.

With that said, thank you for reading, I hope you will find the articles to be of some worth. Cheers!

Your fellow member,
gashie

[theLeeHarvey, if you are offended by any of the association and would prefer exclusion, please kindly inform me, and I will amend accordingly. Thanks!]

Ahh.. this was what CloudyChan must have been talking about. I managed to replicate the problem only when I tried to click on the links using IE. I've edited the links, they should be fine for all browsers now.

It looks like the urls have a quotation mark at the end

I am quite the fool when it comes to these codings. I never knew that before. Thank you very much for the heads up LoginToDownload!

It looks like the urls have a quotation mark at the end, and that's what's stopping them working...

Great articles, by the way. <img class=">

i think the people that may not already know the facts and steps you've written aren't the type to consider reading this, but i didn't know that the image format didn't have to be jpeg to share it here

For those who already know it should be taken as a confirmation of knowledge; and for those who don't the gain of it.

I merely seek to pass on my limited learnt information to others; knowledge is empowerment.

HouseAtlantic, your feedback is much appreciated, and I thank you for typing it. The two above quotes are from my article's FAQ section. Although it may or may not directly (partially or wholly) refer to your point, I have taken very careful steps at every point to state that the article is meant to be informational at its base, and I do not allude to the positive or negative gain or confirmation of the information. I merely pass it on hoping it will have some positive impact, but I do not assume and speak for anyone should they choose to think what they think; once information is passed, the onus and freedom rightfully belongs to the reader as to what they will do with it.

Again, thank you for sharing your thoughts.

    Cheers,
    gashie

SydneyB, thank you for your kind words and I'm glad you had a wonderful experience with it. Cheers.

Thanks for your article, gashie. I never thought of the bandwith problem before and didn't know anything about compressing images. Now I've learned something new <img class=">

Excuse me but your links do not work

Hello, I do not seem to have problems with it =) Nonetheless, you can copy and paste the URLs into your browser. Here they are:

    www.tesnexus.com/articles/article.php?id=131

    www.tesnexus.com/articles/article.php?id=132

Currently, it could also be due to Dark0ne performing a server upgrade.
