This little article is a helper for the video guide based on Bevi's modlist.
I will explain inconsistencies in the videos and give some more general advice. Please remember to have Bevi's guide handy when doing the video guide.

PART 0 - INTRODUCTION

This introductory video explains the concept of the video guide and introduces tools that will make the modding of TES4 efficient and fail-safe.

• Notepad++
• 7zip
• Wrye Bash - I mention Wrye Bash here to explain why it is not a usual mod manager.
  

If used correctly, you can undo almost anything the mods do to your game although Wrye Bash writes to your Oblivion\Data folder for real.

QTP3 Redimized Patched  contains the file Meshes\Dungeons\Caves\Exterior\centrancemtnsnowlg02.nif which has a space in the beginning of the filename centrancemtnsnowlg02.nif.

You have to extract this mod somewhere and remove the space from the filename, then pack it up again. This will solve the issue.
