About this image

My avatar has recently crossed Lake Rumare via Imperial Isle East Bridge (Roads of Cyrodiil) and, just prior to this image, bested a wolf. From here he will enter and clear the ruin, gathering decent loot in the process. I intended to observe him continue on to Cheydinhal. Alas, it was not to be. He survived the first Bandit ambush along the Blue without breaking a sweat. The same can not be said for the black bear encountered almost immediately afterward. It wasn't even close. As I do not yet make saves for this experimental Oblivion build beyond one just prior to the Imperial Prison sewer exit it was game over, with no point in reloading.

    It's always the bears

Your game is looking good, though! Love the shot here with the tower in the distance.

I commiserate, with the loss. I remember when first playing Skyrim and taking the scenic route, for some reason a bear decided to romp over me. It ended quickly, a big difference between Oblivion and Skyrim I discovered quickly is Skyrim auto-saves MUCH more often and with more than just one auto-save (3 if I'm not mistaken).
