~Thank you Mr. Iwata for ♔♔♔ amazing lives to explore.~

And yes I know this might not be the right place for this.
And that this is a little late.
But I grew up with Nintendo so I don't care if I am
weirding people out with this xD
I felt like it

Ahhh Nintendo how I love the. Was sad to hear of this, but the legend lives on with each new game. I'm a huge Zelda fan myself and Iwata and Miyamoto made something truly magical with Twilight Princess for the Wii in my opinion. Countless hours spent on that game and enjoyed every minute of it.

Thanks for sharing this. Love it!

To be honest, back then I was always a big SEGA (especially Sonic-) fan, but I remember the time (1992...) when I was 17/18 years old.
During my 3 years apprenticeship I lived in a apprentice dormitory, far away from home. One day they had a brand new SNES in one of the 3 TV-rooms, so some of us "silly" guys started to play little "Street Fighter" and "Bomberman" tournaments.

At this time also my former girlfriend bought a SNES. She liked games like "Zelda" and "Secrets of Mana", and step by step I became a fan of (some) Nintendo games (and roleplaying games)...

(Nowadays I have "Zelda" and "Secret of Mana" on my PC again - because of nostalgia. ^^
...and "my" junior plays Super Mario Galaxy on his Wii... )

Legebd of Zelda, Super Mario Brothers, Metroid, Tetris, Pokemon, Smash Brothers. Yeah any one who was a kid in the 90's has one or more titles they can point to and say "Yeah I sank more time I to that then I care to admit." Question is, would you do it again?

While I didn't have an NES or SNES growing up, I did get both after highschool when I had a job and some disposable income. Still have those older cartridges in a box somewhere and I'd play them again in a heartbeat.
