Mia had picked up her pace to a jog for some time now only stopping when she came across Aaron's discarded leather's, and sword. She hesitated before touching them as she could feel the foul magic in the air around the discarded equipment, a feeling that made the hair on the back of her neck stand up.
She used her magic to dispel the equipment, scooped it up and carried on, now at a run.
Mia knew she was close when that feeling in the air hit her like a brick wall once more. Then... she saw him. Aaron was near naked only his under thing's kept him covered curled up on the cold ground.
Mia dropped the gear she carried, and ran to her friend fearing the worst. She was gladdened to find that Aaron yet breathed. She spoke her incantation to dispel the magic from Aaron, it had no effect.
This was different, Aaron had been hit by not one but two different lingering spell's. Mia only knew one spell that could stabilize Aaron for a time but not cure him. To do so left her own magic weakened for as long as the effect lasted.
She didn't think only react. Aaron would be stabilized.

Also: Sorry for the cheesy PS effect in the image, I've never found any kind of equipable spell effect's mod's so had to resort to this instead.
Cheesy effect? Not at all!
The effect is not blatant and it was used to accentuate the story. Everything's fine.
Sorry, as for many, RL is sometimes really buzy. So, I just saw your continuing... Wow, it Becomes hard to follow Aaron's trail... Great story line and image. A new star is born, I mean Papp263.
Can't wait for more.
Let's hope that Mia can help him somehow.
