I feel the same. This DoF is generally amazing, and so far unbeatable - so smooth, and it calculates blur almost perfectly. I only wish that DoF was "lockable", meaning that I'd like to "lock" DoF and be able to change my position...
Hmm some tricks that work somewhat are to pose (if you use pose mods at all) the character, toggle the free cam, and focus on say the middle of an outstretched arm, or even part of the weapon... this can be tricky but does work most of the time. In really dark areas I've noticed most DoF have a hard time distinguishing what it is that needs to be focused, and what shouldn't...
Hah! Tutorial dungeon! Knew it at once! -- Wonder why mine is always in shades of gray? There's no colour in mine at all? -- Superbe image, papp! Tread carefully.

I do agree, sometimes this DoF comes off to strong, but other time's and places it's just right...
I have made many images that way.
Thanks Tobbs.
Thank you Css.
