That first night in the basement on the other side of the door, only the soft rhythmic pulsing had kept Serrie moving forward. Drawing her ever closer.
As she had neared the doorway at the end of a tunnel the darkness had given way to a deep red glow from the door. At that moment Serrie's mind raced, the man had said it was safe here, and that she would find a home here... She did not feel safe.
Suddenly Serrie could feel the pang of being watched, and from the looks of this door knew if she was to turn and run she would not get far. So far as she had been promised by the man nothing here had harmed her in any way. Knowing she could not turn back, the only thing she could do was touch the door as the man had told her. Serrie slowly placed her hand on the door in the only place the door was not glowing. A black depression in the door, the shape of a hand print.
"What is the colour of night?" She heard in a low deep whisper. "Sanguine my brother." She said in reply as instructed. She could no longer feel eye's watching her now, as though they had disappeared into a shadow.
She would learn here, to be afraid no longer.

Serrie became Assassin.....,but she obtained sisters and brothers
Interesting series!
We visited this house to grab some Assassin equipment. We were not on the same mission as Serrie, but curious as always we also had a look into the basement...
