Without my doing, all of a sudden, everything Oblivion Reloaded is working. ( Perhaps some Windows / nvidia driver update ... fairly new graphics card ... I didn't do anything. )
Perhaps I should have been more patient but that bugly (big & ugly) rectangle of a small screen image in the upper left corner was the last straw. The smeary trees were unwelcome also. It probably requires someone better at tweaking it than I am or it wouldn't look so beautiful here. Congratulations! It is always good to hear that someone succeeded with such a task. ;-) Your home looks perfect in that location.
Zella, this is a very special post: My One-Thousandth! Exclusively to you! -- I am using the most recent version of OR, and with the default settings, but without Ambient Occlusion (I am using the AO that comes with my graphics card driver, instead), and without the 'Godrays effect', or 'Hangover effect', as I call it. The Fata Morgana problem in the upper left corner had been taken care of some time ago. -- Heh! Wait a second! I am using an old version! There's an update available! Yee-Haaaw! Sorry, no time, I'm off .. .. ! --
