      naritet is correct. When a character (or lady) is really beautiful, she looks beautiful no matter what she wears. She would be beautiful in a tow sack. Her beauty lends beauty to her clothing instead of the other way around. Of course, we like to have beautiful clothing also, when it is appropriate. ;-)
