All faithful reproductions of the paintings used here are stated as "Public Domain world-wide" ( even in the U.K. ;^) ), see The Yorck Project. Again, not all "faithful reproductions" in the Yorck Project compilation are free to use everywhere on the globe; those I use here, on the other hand, are. Can't be too cautious.
