Thank you I love such places in real life. I bet you do, too.
Yes Tobby, it's very difficult to take a decent screenshot in this part of Ubanga because Al's made some custom weather there with superbright, scorching sun all day long... Great for realism, poor for photography

"... made some custom weather ..."  Ah,  that's something I always wanted to ask.  See,  I have done some hiking and biking in southern France.  And when walking west from Sarta towards the border,  the lighting was exactly like ...  I mean I felt -- I actually felt  -- the heat on the back of my head like it was back then.  Amazing.  o I sound over-enthusiastic?  Can't help.

You guys will ultimately "force" me to install Ubanga, and I know my poor rig can't handle it, but My Goodness, all the pics you post taken there are simply irresistible.

And the superbright, scorchy sun makes this scene so realistic and alive...

... must... reach... the water... must... reach... the water...

    Cheers!

Ike, this mod is meeker-and-milder than you think. No demon rig is needed. I run it pretty effortlessly on my piece of turd (you know I have a laptop that's even worse than yours ;P) - even with QTP3 redimized textures and OBGE. When I install Ubanga Botanic Gardens there's hardly any effect in FPS department. Only adding more and more 2048/512 ground textures I'm developing at the moment makes me notice a certain (bearable) drop, which is to be expected. (In general, I noticed that scripts have more impact on my game than carefully chosen textures/models...) I bet it's safe for you to give it a chance. Just do yourself a favour and grab Ubanga English Introductions Patch, too. It's basic translation of dialogues and content.

PS. I'm on my way back to Maranta Port so that I can go pick up Ryan and take him to Ubanga as a test and as a treat. ;P

Nice! I like the life of little villages and town in Ubanga. This one shows one of my prefered among all the others.

Of course I do. I love your boring postcards!

Maybe this scene is a tiny bit too bright for my taste (must be the hot midday sun), but I really like the perspective and the view towards the water.
