Ubanga Botanic Gardens 04 - Holly Shite
O, sweet naivety! Here I thought my crepe myrtle was a master lacework. Little did I know what was coming at me head-butting with lights ablaze and horn blaring in an attempt to shred me to pieces.
Well, it was a tough fight, but in the end it was me who was shredding, and the American Holly shrub shredded to a latticework. I must say this time round I even like its look from the distance. The only thing left for me is to correct colours - mainly to get rid of the yellow hue and make them more homogeneous all over. On the other hand, the slight discolouration creates some sort of random pattern. Perhaps then I should leave it alone?
What do you think? Should they stay like this, or would it be nicer with the same shade of green everywhere?
