About this mod
Nearly every time I left a freighter and looked around for, say, a space station, I'd get sucked back into the freighter. Landing Range DECREASED by 66%. Just enough to equal the length of the Blue Trail. Also included is a fix for the weird invisible wall that your ship hits sometimes, when trying to land from the top of the blue trail.

Nearly every time I left a freighter and looked around for, say, a space station, I'd get sucked back into the freighter. Landing Range DECREASED by 66%. Just enough to equal the length of the Blue Trail.
The blue landing trail in front of a freighter is only 200 meters long. The auto-landing initiation was 600 meters. So I balanced them out. I also increased the speed at which you land and take-off from a freighter by a bit.
If you're anything like me, you jetpack to the catwalk above the middle hangar. This mod make it much easier to land your spacecraft in the middle hangar.
This mod modifies a file specifically for freighter Hangars, so I doubt you'd ever have a conflict.

Added an updated wall fix vanilla spaceshipglobals. Remember though, this global file changes regularly so be aware of any updates that may cause an issue. If you're using a spaceship mod (for handling, speeds, ect) besides mine, you'll lose this feature. You will also have a conflict, so name the mod with a "z" in the front of file, like so: "z_MOD_Freighter.Landing.Decreased.JovianStone.pak"
to whichever mod you want to actually function.(**Read Below)

Freighter landing range works fine for Atlas Rises.
Invisible Wall fix will be updated soon.
** Found a fix for the "Invisible Wall" you sometimes hit when trying to land in a freighter from the top. It's in the file GCSPACESHIPGLOBALS.GLOBAL.MBIN
It's the same file as all Low-Flight/Flight Mods, so if you want to Use Low-Flight with this fix, use my latest mod found here:
Ultimate Flight Mod
Otherwise, as an optional download, you can use a modified "Vanilla" file (no low-flight) that I've uploaded on this mods download page.
If you know how to mod, look for "MinFreighterCollisionDistance" in the spaceshipglobals (monkeyman added my findings to the mbincompiler)
and set it to a lower number. I set it from 200, to 20.
Installation :
Unzip the download using 7zip, WinRar, or whatever suits your fancy
Place the file "_MOD_Freighter.Landing.Decreased.JovianStone.pak" in your \No Man's Sky\GAMEDATA\PCBANKS\MODS folder (Create a Mods folder if one doesn't exist)
Delete or rename the file DISABLEMODS.txt found in the PCBANKS folder
Uninstall :
Delete the file "_MOD_Freighter.Landing.Decreased.JovianStone.pak"
