We all know Roxie - she is the only companion available in the Old World Blues DLC. Unfortunately, she was criminally underutilized - she's extremely weak, doesn't level with the player (and as such is immediately destroyed by pretty much all enemies in the DLC), can't leave the building you find her in, and can't even be issued proper companion commands.
Back in 2017, ashjay101 made a mod that fixed most of those problems - except one: Roxie still wouldn't level with the player. So, while you could take her out of the building you found her in, she would still die immediately due to how weak she was.
Around 2019, I made a little edit to ashjay's mod that allowed Roxie to properly level with the player, but I forgot about it and left the file collecting dust in my computer. Back in 2022, I found the file again and asked for ash's permission to upload it, and I was granted it - but then other stuff came up in my life keeping me busy and then I forgot about it. I got in the mood to mod New Vegas again and stumbled into the file once more, so after several years I'm finally properly uploading it.
Unfortunately, I haven't had the chance to test to see if it properly works yet... hopefully it does, use it at your own risk and make backups of your save files. Keep me updated!
