I'm back with another in my series of extra unique weapons. Today is a mysterious single action revolver, that heals the wielder and confers bonus damage depending on the users Medicine stat. Found in a place of healing, the unique looking gun continues my deck-of-cards motif.

I've been away from the game for the summer but picked it up again this weekend and checked the comments on my other mods and to my surprise found some requests for more weapons. So I threw this texture together and then played with the GECK until I had come up with a unique effect that fits the Aesthetic of the gun. I landed on a "hurt-you, heal-me" type thing. No clever backstory as of yet.
The Weapon has a base damage of 1 (offset by the special effect) and a base health of twice that of Lucky (I don't like the weapon condition system). She has a greatly increased skill requirement over the standard .357 (guns 65 strength 5) in a feeble attempt at balancing this beast. She's not in goodsprings or novac and you can't just grab her five minutes in either. She's hidden in plain sight in a mid game location.
The effect works by conferring a flat 40 hit point bonus damage to the enemy and simultaneously transferring 40 hit points to the user. When your medicine skill pokes above 50, the number of points above 50 is added to the original 40. Like this : Bonus Damage/Hp = 40 + (Medicine - 50). So if you had a Medicine skill of 70 you would receive 60 hp and do 60 points of damage straight to the enemy. This Damage ignores any DT/DR entirely, doing pure damage.
