This mod requires textures from Gun Runners' Arsenal, but the DLC is not required to use the gun in-game.

DESCRIPTION

I wanted to try making a bullpup weapon that would still work within the rigid confines of New Vegas' extremely limited weapon animation system, and this is the result. It takes most of its design cues from the Croatian VHS-2 rifle, with the top-down feed system of the FN P90 and the forward ejection of the FN F2000.

I started with the base game 12.7mm SMG mesh and removed everything except for the magazine and charging handle. I then took the Bozar from the Gun Runners' Arsenal DLC and chopped it up to make the receiver - mirroring the left side to remove the ejection port and shrinking the whole thing down 15%. I then added the pistol grip and trigger guard from the 25mm Grenade APW, the top rail from the Laser RCW, the scope-mounting bracket from the 9mm Pistol, the barrel and front sight post from the Assault Carbine and the trigger from the Marksman Carbine. The handguard was made by modifying the one from the Assault Carbine, straightening it out to remove the taper. Lastly, I added the charging handle slot from the .22 SMG. For the red-dot sight, I cut up the .44 Magnum Revolver scope and then gave it transparent lenses and an aiming reticle.

Gameplay-wise, this weapon has a magazine capacity of 50 rounds and a moderately fast rate of fire. Its damage output is on-par with that of the Assault Carbine. It can be modded with the Varmint Rifle Night Scope and the 10mm Pistol Silencer. I've also added the weapon to all the appropriate form lists, so that all perks and challenges that affect submachine guns (i.e. The Professional) will work as expected.

LOCATION
The weapon can be purchased from the Gun Runners and other vendors across the Wasteland, or found in random loot drops. Of course, if you're feeling lazy, you can always use the following console command (Substitute ## with the number of the mod in your load order):

player.AddItem ##000ADE 1;Gives 1 Bullpup Rifle

INSTALLATION
Extract all the files in the archive to your New Vegas data folder (which is the same folder where FalloutNV.esm is located) and then enable the ESP either in your mod manager of choice, or under "Data Files" in the launcher that runs when you start up New Vegas.
