FEATURES
\\\\\\\\\\\\\

Ever found it kinda weird how once you upgrade the Securitrons at the Fort, Victor just kinda sits around and does literally nothing for the rest of the game? Granted, he does have some cut encounters, and you can still use him for the elevator, but that's besides the point. I found this weird as well, and decided to do something about it.

Once you've completed The House Always Wins II, Victor can be found down in the Lucky 38 Casino lobby, where you can comment on his lack of things to do. After a brief exchange you can ask him to join you, and he will, provided that you don't have a humanoid companion with you.

  • Stats

As a Mk. II Securitron, Victor is very durable in combat, he starts off with 400 base health, and will slowly level up to 900. In addition, he has 30 DT with a mild auto regen effect that enables him to be a pretty effective tank.

Unlike the other in game Mk. IIs, he has access to all of his weapons at the same time, and can freely swap between them whenever. However should you so choose, you can toggle certain weapons via dialogue so long as you pass a small Science check of 25. In addition, he can also be commanded to use melee, at which point he will swap to his fists.

  • Perk

While Victor is a companion. he will give you the Dead Man's Hand perk. This perk allows Victor to pull you from the brink of death once per day, as in, once your health drops below 20%, time will momentarily slow, you will gain a small damage bonus, and your health will rapidly regenerate.

  • Misc

All of Victor's dialogue is fully voiced using various vanilla lines, sometimes spliced, mostly repurposed.

In combat, Victor will swap to his unused "alert" screen.

Victor can be dismissed to 3 separate locations, the Lucky 38, Novac, and Goodsprings.

In hardcore mode, Victor can die, but he will be transferred into another Securitron in the Lucky 38 one day after his destruction.

Should you fail any of Mr. House's quests, Victor will turn on you, at which point you will lose his perk and he'll become permanently killable.

Conflicts
\\\\\\\\\\

I am currently unsure at the moment, but this will likely conflict somewhat with mods that re-add Victor's "last stand" against the player, or mods that restore the little scene outside of the El Dorado substation.

None! Just base New Vegas.
