Hello, everybody! This is a brand-new retexture of the potato, in a variety of different sizes.
I made this for this mod, but the vanilla texture is so very terrible I decided to release it separately in advance.
>WHAT
A high-res (1K) retexture of the potato. Custom normal map included. Will work on Fallout 3, too.
The original texture is an incredibly tiny 64x64 (filesize: a whopping 3 KB). I'm including that minuscule resolution, alongside 512x, 256x, 128x and, of course, 1024x, for folks who may feel such a small prop isn't worth that much VRAM. Choose whichever you prefer.
I think there are a few spots on it that still have some slight seams, but I believe it's not too bad. So, if you are bothered by those, feel free to keep tweaking the texture yourself. The model has like 4 polygons too, so I did what I could.
That's all there is to it. Download it or don't, I really don't mind. If you think the original texture looks better, more power to you I guess. Never said I was good at making these things...
>HOW
To install, choose the one you want and extract the contents of the folder to your "Steam/SteamApps/Common/Fallout New Vegas/Data" folder. That's it, no esp required. To uninstall, simply delete the files from your Data folder, and you're good to go. Have fun!
