I made this file for myself, but I decided to publish here, it might be useful for someone.

Always bothered me that:

1) A stimpak is WAY better and simple then anything you do with the Survival skill. 
2) Bighorner meat is almost useless.

This mod tries to balance things. Write down in your cookbook, because now you have a new way to craft:

- COOK COOK FIEND STEW
01 Bighorner Meat
01 Banana Yucca
01 Sunset Sarsaparilla
01 Honey Mesquita Pod
Survival Skill: 75

Why? Because belive or not, it´s not easy to find Brahmin meat in the game. There´s plenty of Bighorners around the map, and Banana Yucca is always close to them I belive.

The Sunset replaces the beer, because the last is a item that you will often have to buy. Now, a hunter or a tribal buying their ingredients? Not work. Also, Legionaries can´t drink alchool.

Honey Mesquita Pod replaces the Jalapeno, because is more easy to find. Just go to the NCR Sharecropper Farms or Westside.

- DESERT SALAD

01 Barrel Cactus Fruit
Survival Skill: 55
 
Why? Again, Bighorner is much more common then Brahmin and pinyon nuts is hard to find. Plenty of Maizes in the NCR Sharecropper Farms and Barrel Cactus is easy to find in Eldorado Dry Lake.

- RUSHING WATER
01 Dirty Water
01 Cazador Poison Gland
Survival Skill: 40

Why? Because winners (and Legionaries) don´t use drugs. I choose dirty water because the radiation kick the ball (and to make this item more useful) and the cazador gland replace the Jet. Cazador gland is use in turbo, a item that gave speed, like rushing water.

This is lore friendly too. Rushing Water is not banned in the fort, and that´s wrong. With my recipe, makes more sense.

01 Pinto Bean Pod
Survival Skill: 35

Why? Dont know, I'm not satisfied with this recipe yet. Anyway, you can find a lot Pinto Bean in NCR Sharecropper Farms. 

Obs: Pinto is a brazilian word for...dick lol

01 Bark Scorpion Poison Gland
Survival Skill: 20

Why? Because Doctor Bag is a banned item in the Legion. Also, you don´t have to know something about first aid, do you? I don´t, for example.

Cave Fungs is hard to find, that´s why I replace for Bark Scorpion Poison Gland.
