This mod adds a handful of recipes to campfire-type stations, which will allow players to reverse "Irradiated" food and drink items back to their non-irradiated forms. Players will first need to craft a new item, "Reverse Rad. Pills," using a dose of RadAway and the potassium from a [non-irradiated] Banana Yucca Fruit to yield 10 pills. These pills can then be used in recipes that will combine the pill with an irradiated food item, reversing the irradiation and rendering them safe(r) to eat / be used in other recipes. All 21 types of irradiated food items in the original game are accounted for.
There are only a handful of Irradiated food items in the game, mostly found in the highly radioactive depths of Camp Searchlight. While you could probably just as easily consume these irradiated items as-is and take a dose of RadAway after the fact, the annoyance I ran into was not being able to use the irradiated items in recipes which call for their non-irradiated forms. At the moment, I'm working on a "Make Your Own MRE" mod which utilizes lesser-used food items in additional new recipes, and felt it would be nice to have the option of curing irradiated foods for use in them.
