Description:
I always liked the part of the New Vegas Reborn Project (removed by the author recently) that changed around recipes to make them somewhat more user-friendly. But it only came as part of the core module, so when I uninstalled that mod because of the script lag on saving, I was kind of annoyed by having to return to vanilla recipes. Therefore I made my own mod with similar recipe tweaks, without anything else. Currently it requires CaliberX, because they both deal with junk rounds and I thought it better to make it consistent than end up with two recipes for some rounds like you would with NVR. I could probably make a version without that requirement if you for some reason dislike that mod though.

Features:
  • Cactus Water and Bitter Drink can now be made with any empty bottle. Homebrewed Nuka-Cola can be made with both empty soda bottles and empty Nuka-Cola bottles.
  • These recipes, as well as the various cloned produce recipes, only appear if you have the relevant component in your inventory. If you don't have that, they are replaced by a single dummy entry so as not to clutter your recipe screen.
  • Skill book recipes only appear if you have the physical recipe in your inventory.
  • Sierra Madre Martini now requires a whiskey bottle, because this is not a tin can...
  • Apropos tin cans — they can now be unbent at a workbench.
  • You can now craft the fire bombs from Honest Hearts at a workbench.
  • Junk round recipes have been changed back to using Repair (as opposed to Guns in CaliberX) as that is the skill unlocking the perk. They now require two tin cans instead of five. I took that number from NVR, which gave more bullets as well, but haven't really tested it myself so I'm open to changing it if it proves too strong.
