Thanks for the hot files guys, you rock!

Hello everybody! This is a small mod that adds a bunch of beanie hats to the game. Both FNV-only and FNV+Tale of Two Wastelands versions are available.

The FNV-only version requires no DLC, whereas the TTW version obviously requires Tale of Two Wastelands and all DLC for NV. The mod has been cleaned with FNVEDIT and all. 

As always, you should always make a backup save before installing ANY mod, in case something goes wrong.


>WHAT
Some fun beanie hats for you! The original model, Harper Beanie Hair, was made by April, and I have express permission to convert it (if you're reading this, April, hello! <3) and share it with you all! Yay! My gal Elianora made some lovely 2K textures for them, and I threw together a bunch of color variants. As you can see, this is a group effort!

These beanies can be purchased from a merchant in Novac (and one in Rivet City if you're using the TTW versions). You can manually reset the merchant's inventory for 50 caps if you need more beanies for friends and family. Beanies for everyone! 

Custom icon and a simple ground model included. They can be repaired with other beanies and a wide variety of vanilla hats. Check the screenshots for stats and merchant locations. Enjoy!

As this was something I made for myself, I WILL NOT MAKE ANY CHANGES. I will not add to it or subtract from it. I will not convert the mod to FO3 either. This is offered as-is. I CANNOT STRESS THIS ENOUGH. EDIT THE MOD YOURSELF IF YOU WANT TO ADD/SUBSTRACT MORE!


>NOTES
The beanies have 2K textures by default. If that's too much for you to handle, I've uploaded an optional bundle of lower-resolution textures already packaged into a BSA. Choose a resolution and replace the BSA from the main file with the one you want.

I tested these with vanilla head meshes and tried to avoid ear clipping. As far as I can see there are no issues, but if you use a custom head with extreme proportions the beanie will probably look odd, to say the least. You've been warned.

A simple grey beanie is available among the color variants, so if you want to make your own design you can use that as a base and overlay your preferred color/pattern on it. I won't be adding any more.


>WHY

>WHERE
The TTW merchant is in Rivet City Market. The FNV merchant is in Novac, near the hotel. 


>HOW
To install, extract the contents of your downloaded file to your "Steam/SteamApps/Common/Fallout New Vegas/Data" folder. Then activate the mod through your preferred launcher by ticking the checkbox next to the esp. Or you can use your mod manager of choice to download the mod automatically. To uninstall, simply delete the files from your Data folder, and you're good to go. Have fun!
