"The Lahti-Saloranta M/26 (alternatively LS/26) is a light machine gun which was designed by Aimo Lahti and Arvo Saloranta in 1926.
On the battlefield, the Lahti-Saloranta M/26 was found to be hard to clean due to the 188 parts of the gun, heavy and lacking in magazine
capacity. It was nicknamed Kootut virheet, "assorted mistakes". On the other hand, proficient gunners liked and took full advantage of
the exceptional accuracy of the weapon, and with oiling adapted for
winter, it turned out to be very reliable." - Le Wikipedia,
Now that we've got the history of the gun out of the way, here it is, the Lahti Saloranta M26, nifskoped by truly yours.
Took me lot longer than I wanted to upload this weapon due to the lack of time. As result, the gun is badly tested. So I ask for feedback on what needs to fixed.
Requires Dead Money and GRA.
Uses 556, weighs 17.5, requires 8 Strength and 100 skill required to shoot it properly.
Uses the Sniper Rifle carbon fiber parts for a new stock, resulting in weight reduction(From 17.5 to 10... whatever weights measurement FNV uses,) and Light Machine Gun Expanded mags for a drum mag adding 75 bullets(No mod = 20 bullets; Modded = 95)
It's currently located at the Goodsprings School House for the sake of testing along side some ammo and it's mods.
