Hello everybody! This tiny mod adds a Nuka-Cola energy weapon very loosely based on the one featured in Fallout 4 concept art (therefore, "knock-off").

The mod requires no DLC and has been cleaned with FNVEDIT, so it should be safe for everybody to use. Still, you should always make a backup save before installing ANY mod, in case something goes wrong.



>WHAT
A fancy little unique Energy blaster and custom ammo for your enjoyment.

The blaster is called "Knock-Off Nuka-Cola Blaster" and requires both 1 Strength and 45 Energy Weapons to be used to its full potential. It's not overpowered by any means (at least in my opinion). It does 20 points of base damage, 18 crit, weighs 1.5 pounds and has a base price of 750 caps. It can be repaired with Nuka-Cola bottles.

It doesn't have any mods and I'll probably not add any. A scope and stuff would be fun, but I'm too tired to work on it anymore. I may add some if enough people complain, though. Although probably not.

This blaster uses some special custom ammo - Nuka-Cola Vials! You can craft them at any workbench once you get the schematics.

I'm pretty much done with this. As this was something I made for myself, I WILL NOT MAKE ANY CHANGES. I will not add to it or subtract from it. The mod is offered as-is.

I know this may not be lore-friendly or whatever. I don't care. As usual, download it or don't, I really don't mind.



>WHERE
In a camper somewhere near the California Sunset Drive-in. The containers in this place will not respawn, so it can be used as a player home too, if you so desire. A map marker is available, but you need to discover it before you can fast-travel.



>RECOMMENDED MODS
As this blaster uses vanilla textures for everything except the ammo, I'd strongly suggest installing Nuka-Cola Hi-Res Retexture by 6IX (the screenshots were taken with it) to make the bottle look better. 


>HOW
To install, extract the contents of your downloaded file to your "Steam/SteamApps/Common/Fallout New Vegas/Data" folder. Then activate the mod through your preferred launcher by ticking the checkbox next to the esp. Or you can use your mod manager of choice to download the mod automatically. To uninstall, simply delete the files from your Data folder, and you're good to go. Have fun!
