About this mod

Adds a new weapon, the Plasma Revolver, to the Mojave Wasteland. Complete with three weapon mods and leveled list integration.

DESCRIPTION:
The 'Plasma Revolver' mod adds a brand new weapon to the Mojave Wasteland. The weapon comes complete with three weapon mods, leveled list integration and a few copies placed into the world. You can also find a 'cheat box' inside the largest rock between Doc Mitchell's house and the Goodsprings Gas Station (See images). The cheat box contains the Plasma Revolver, all three mods and some ammo. Just disable the rock or use 'tcl' to reach it.

The new weapon can be found in all the same places as the 'Plasma Defender' with a 50/50 chance of spawning. Also, because the Plasma Defender seems to be rare I also added the weapon and its mods to all Tier 3 energy weapon lists. So more enemies should carry it and more merchants should sell it. This is also the reason three copies of the weapon can be found, as opposed to just one in my other weapon mods.

The first copy of the weapon, alongside all three weapon mods, can be found next to a dead Bright Brotherhood member at 'Primm Pass'.

The second copy of the weapon, without mods, can be found on a shelf inside the 'Silver Rush'. The shelf is to left as soon as you enter.

The third and final copy of the weapon, again with no mods, is found inside a safe in the 'Lucky 38 Cocktail Lounge'. Note that this *replaces* the Plasma Defender which is originally found here.


FEATURES:

BUGS/CONFLICTS:
Bugs:
  • There are no associated bugs in the latest version of the file. Be sure to report any you find so they can be dealt with quickly.

Conflicts:
  • Just like all mods which affect leveled lists, this mod will have some conflicts, although none of them are game-breaking. I believe leveled list conflicts can be solved by simply creating a merged patch.
  • Other than that be sure to report any other serious conflicts so they can be fixed quickly.
INSTALL/UNINSTALL:
  • To install, copy the 'PlasmaRevolver.esp', the 'Meshes' and 'Textures'  folders into your Fallout New Vegas data folder. Or simply activate the mod in Fallout Mod Manager.
  • To uninstall, delete the 'PlasmaRevolver.esp' from your Fallout New Vegas data folder. Then go into both the 'Meshes' and 'Textures' folders and delete the 'PlasmaRevolver' folders from both. Or simply de-activate the mod in Fallout Mod Manager.

NOTE: Fallout Mod Manager is HIGHLY recommended.
