About this mod
Replaces the GRA Lil' Devil gun with a mesh and texture more to MY own tastes
- Requirements
- Permissions and credits
It replaces the Lil' Devil gun from Gun Runners' Arsenal with a model I personally like more. Basically I really dislike Obsidian's 12.7mm mesh, so I decided to make my own variation of my old .454 Casull Auto pistol.
I gave it the BSD Daemon symbol on the slide, because I needed some visual symbol for why it's called "Lil' Devil", and it seemed like it would fit the name perfectly.
Unlike the original Lil' Devil, it can be modded with a 12.7mm pistol silencer. You just knew I was going to make a silenced version, right?
I also gave it double damage to limbs and slightly higher durability, but otherwise it has the same stats the Lil' Devil had. (It already had the 2x crit chance I give my weapons, so that didn't get changed.)
I also gave it custom JHP projectiles and some nice .50 AE brass, well, just because I could.
REQUIREMENTS
Since it replaces a Gun Runners Arsenal weapon, it NEEDS the Gun Runners Arsenal DLC installed and active.
HOW TO GET IT
Same as you always got the Lil' Devil.
HOW TO INSTALL IT
Search for "set bInvalidateOlderFiles=0" in your Fallout.ini file and change it to "set bInvalidateOlderFiles=1", if you haven't done so already.
Extract the archive, with directories, in your game's "Data" folder.
If you have any texture problems, try invalidating the archive, for example with FOMM.
HOW TO UNINSTALL IT
Delete the .esp file from your Data directory.
Delete the LilDevil127mm directory in both the Meshes/Weapons and Textures/Weapons directories.
CONFLICTS
It WILL conflict with everything that changes the same weapon, including WMX, BUT that only means that you'll get the weapon from the last loaded mod. It won't have any other effects. So just make sure that this mod is loaded last.
LICENSE
For my own work, I release it in the public domain. You can do anything you wish with it. I would, of course, appreciate it if you give credit, but if not, so be it, I can live with that too.
Note though that the clip, trigger, hammer, muzzle flash, and animations are Bethesda's, so it's not ok to port those to other games than Fallout 3 and Fallout New Vegas. If you want to port this to another game, you'll have to get a clip, trigger and hammer from some weapon in that game.
