About this mod
Replaces the Atomic Wrangler Crier with a fully voiced Alchestbreach clone companion, equipped with a unique weapon.
- Requirements
- Permissions and credits
- Version 2.6 fixes a common complaint that the Crier gets lost when dismissed. He will now teleport directly back to his corner in Freeside upon dismissal, rather than wander there on foot.
- I have remixed the Crier's existing voiced lines to provide voice-acting for many of his companion lines (his responses when told to switch weapon styles, follow distance, etc) that were unvoiced prior to this. I can now say he his fully voiced.
- Minor adjustments have been made to the Crier's companion perk, attributes and armament.
DESCRIPTION
Y'know that annoying hussy who stands on the street corner in Freeside and never shuts up about the damn Atomic Wrangler?! Well, thankfully, she has vanished under mysterious circumstances and seemingly been replaced with none other than MOTHERF*#KING AL CHESTBREACH!
Crier Breach will stand in lieu of the Vanilla Atomic Wrangler Crier and spout out all of the wonderful things they have down at the Atomic Wrangler. He has about 40 fully-voiced and lip synced unique Atomic Wrangler themed barks voiced by Al Chestbreach.
You can talk to Crier Breach to enlist him as a companion or leave him where he is. It's entirely up to you!
Crier Breach is equipped with a unique melee weapon (retextured Nuka-Breaker) which aids him in his quest to literally, and figuratively, beat everyone over the head with the glory of his beloved Atomic Wrangler. Please note, however, that he does not come equipped with a ranged weapon. If you want him to be shooty, you will need to give him a gun.
Crier Breach grants the Courier the Come on Down! perk. This perk will give the Player access to the Crier's employee discount at the Atomic Wrangler. It will also increase the Player's damage with all weapons
INSTALLATION
Either install it with you mod manager of choice or drop the contents of the .zip into your game directory.
CREDIT & SPECIAL THANKS
All credit for the voiced dialogue goes to Alchestbreach. His content is awesome and never fails to amuse and entertain. If you've somehow read this far without knowing who he is, I strongly recommend you check out his videos at https://www.youtube.com/user/AlChestBreach.
