About this mod
This small mod simply allows you to continue collecting star caps after completing Legend of the Star.

This is just a simple mod that allows you to continue collecting Sunset Sarsaparilla star caps after completing Legend of the Star, in case you're like me and become obnoxiously attached to items you may or may not have risked life and limb to collect. (They're so shiny!)
It also unflags them as quest items, so that you can decorate with them if you really want to do so. Be warned that they have a nasty tendency to drop through the floor when dropped one at a time in my experience, so make sure to drop two (two drops of one each, not one drop of two) before closing the Pip-Boy, just in case!
When you first complete Legend of the Star, Festus will take your caps as usual. He'll return them once he's finished telling his story, however, just like he does when you drop in your caps but don't have enough. How nice of him! Any excess star caps will remain unaltered now, as well, instead of converting to regular caps. You can continue to collect star caps for the rest of the game!
I haven't tested it, but Malcom's encounter and the encounter with Tomas and Jacklyn should remain unaffected and play out as normal. If anyone's able to test this for me, I'd appreciate it. This also does seem to leave Festus open for conversation and Lucky Horseshoes, as well! That shouldn't cause any issues, but if anyone finds otherwise, please let me know!
Installation:
Drag and drop the ESP to your Data folder and check it before you play! It'll conflict with any mods that alter star caps or Festus' dialogue, but I don't know of any!
Uninstallation:
Uncheck and delete the file and you're good to go! I haven't tested it, so I'm not sure if your stars will convert or not upon uninstallation.
If you've already completed the quest before downloading this mod and want your stars back:
Open up the console (players using a gamepad may need to switch to keyboard controls...it's a pain, I know) and enter the command 'player.additem 00103b1c xx'. Replace xx with the quantity you desire! Keep in mind that opening the console disables achievements until the game is closed and reopened!
