About this mod

Modification of the original Chaos Corpse Remover mod by Chaos. Works fine with TTW or FNV.

Permissions and credits
This mod works for TTW. It's where I actually use it. But it will also work fine for just Fallout New Vegas.

Ok if you're playing the game as a first person shooter and killing everything you encounter especially when encountering large volumes of enemies or creatures and they pile up like cords of wood then you may find this mod useful. If not then don't use it. Simple as that. And before I hear that you can basically do the same thing using the console then yes that is true. But going into the console each time is a pain and this just makes it easier. Also yes you can also use the grap function and drag corpses off of each other but again that is time consuming and a pain to do. So again if you don't like this mod or have no use for it then just don't use it.

This is a modification of a mod called Chaos Corpse Remover by Chaos which you can find here on Nexus. It was modified with his complete consent. So the mod still should be considered his and he be given a majority of the credit.

So what exactly does this mod do? Well this is what Chaos said when he posted the original mod here on Nexus.

"Basically, this perk, once taken will allow you to remove corpses from your game when you activate them while sneaking and select the remove corpse option."

Basically the mod works the same way. You must be in sneak mode to activate the menu allowing you the option to remove or loot a corpse. But now the mod has been changed with the following modifications...

First of all it is no longer a perk. Once installed it's completely functional.

Also this version will remove all corpses whereas the original would sometimes not remove certain corpses. However with this change comes a small potential problem. Sometimes if you ask for a corpse to be removed it will remove not only that one corpse but possibly others as well. In the original mod it would do nothing. Now this doesn't happen that frequently and to fix it just isn't really worth the bother. If all you want to do is get rid of corpses then it's no big deal. But if you want to loot all of the corpses then you should try to loot as many as you can before you remove any just in case.

Finally the last modification is that if you select remove corpse from the menu an additional verification menu will pop up asking you to confirm that you indeed want the corpse removed. This is so if in your haste you selected remove corpse by mistake when you really wanted to actually loot you can go back.

All of the new script changes were implemented with the help of Fallout2AM. I want to thank her for her help even though she says it was pretty simple to do. But she has been busy producing some excellent mods of late so I appreciate that she took some time to help get this done.

Finally to install this mod it's as simple as loading it and activating it in your choice of mod managers just like basically any other mod. To remove just deactivate and uninstall it. I know of no conflicts with any other mods but that is always a possibility so I give can give no guarantees so use as your own risk.
